Best Western Plus Theodor Storm Hotel
About this property
Named after the famous novelist Theodor Storm and positioned right in the heart of his birth place, this hotel provides the perfect hub for exploring the so called “gate to the North Frisian Islands”. Although its best known son called it "the grey town by the sea" it can offer its visitors plenty of cultural attractions which include the Marienkirche, which has collapsed 1807 and was re-erected 1833, the Schloss vor Husum, which dates back to 1582 and was a residence of the dukes of Holstein-Gottorp and the old town hall dating back to 1601. Best of all the hotel itself is positioned right in the centre of the city. Its guests can start their mornings with a proper German-Style breakfast buffet before heading out for an exciting day and finish it at the onsite restaurant with a delightful dish from the Schleswig-Holstein region.
